The single channel Mt. Hood is 6.75" thick (w/o crossbars) when closed which provides a slimmer profile and a lighter tent. It does not have any extra storage inside the tent so your ladder (7.5 foot ladder is included) and sleeping bags will have to be stored inside the vehicle. The single-channel allows for awnings, showers, and gear to be mounted to the T slot.
