I’m the First review, yes! Lol.

Bought the Mt Shasta ext. Loved it and waited to get mine on my 2016 4Runner. Finally camped out and slept in it @ dechutes national forest, with an awesome view of mountains. Only downside and is recommended to buy is the condensation mat, very little wet from overnight sleeping on the first night of sleeping. Til next morning seeing the little wetness after folding it back in place to head out of camp. Mat is needed when purchasing and I forgot to buy one when I was there twice. Cause I came back for some other CVT accessories. Also bout annex channel for easy installation. Thanks to the crew member and staff, Jamie on the sales, and the guys in the back helping me with and extra hand DIY Installing the rack myself in my roof rack of my 4Runner. Thank you CVTfamily!

Impressed with this tent. Had it for 1 1/2 years now used it at least 70 nights. It withstood forecasted wind gusts up to 75 mph the whole night at the Overland Expo this year 2016. My brother just bought one too. Way to go Mark, you and Silvia will love it.

What can I say, this tent is awesome. I’ve done 3 weekend trips in it so far. From 85° nights in the Everglades with the windows open on the tent, to Francis Marion National Forest in SC, 45° nights with just a normal sleeping bag. With just a little practice, the tent can set up in 5 minutes with one person, and fold up in 8-10 minutes. The mattress is very comfortable. Me and my girlfriend have plenty of space in there with all the blankets and pillows. Oh and you can leave the bedding in the whole trip without a problem!

I do recommend getting the anti condensation mat for the tent tho since I have a light water build up in the mornings. The mat has saved the mattress.

    Great product CVT!

I spent about 6 months looking at roof top tents. After all, this was a big purchase for me. I found that the structural concepts of the tents are basically the same. The difference would be in the details. I finally decided to purchase the Mt. Shasta Extended Stargazer Pioneer! I used my tent for this first time this weekend and I am here to tell all of you who are on the fence about which brand to purchase……CVT got the details right!

First and foremost, their customer service was great in every part of the process. The build quality of the tent exceeded my expectations. I previously had a chance to put my hands on a few other brands, and was not fully impressed. So my advice would be to be careful when looking at cheaper options. You will get what you pay for.

I headed back to the last spot I camped with a vengeance. You see, it is very rocky ground and it was about 40 degrees that night. My ground tent made for one of the most uncomfortable nights of my life. But that wouldn’t be the case this time. I set my tent up and when it was time to call it a night, I couldn’t have asked for a better nights sleep….I actually think the foam mattress in the tent is more comfortable than my bed at home. So I guess I should probably replace that…..

Anyway the tent sets up fairly easy and seems to regulate the internal temperature very well. It was also super windy (gusts from 10-15mph) and the tent handled it just fine. I love having the extended feature to allow me to be covered when I climb down the later. It also provides for a larger annex room below. You can fit a fairly large sized air mattress in the annex room incase you need some extra sleeping room for some friends. And did I mention how much space this is for 2 people? Plenty.

I don’t normally write reviews for anything I purchase. In fact this is only the second time I can remember…..and the first time I got some free stuff for doing so. But I had the best experience in my tent this weekend, and you could too. There are a lot of suppliers for roof top tents….I can probably name them all. But if you want a great tent from top to bottom, go with CVT.
