Love the tent made of great material easy to set up the tent and easy to instal on the roof. But the annex room wow what a pain in the but not easy to put up at all and should be a better design to make it easier to use and set up

Incredible tent. I purchased mine about a year ago and have been very satisfied. My family and I (including spouse and 3 small kids) fit in here just fine and were able to camp all along our road trip at 5 National Parks without any issues. This included high altitude camping and some cold weather camping. Setup and take down are breeze once you do it a few times and learn the tricks. Customer service was excellent when I had questions about the tent setup/assembly and when I needed a replacement part. Thanks CVT!

    Here are recommendations for owners:
    1. Always double check that the ladder locking pins are fully engaged before using the tent.
    2. Always lift the ladder off the ground completely when opening the tent so the center channel can fully seat in-place.
    3. If using the annex, lift up on the fabric above the zipper where you are trying to attach or detach the annex. This takes the stress of the zipper interface which decreases the wear on our tent and makes it much easier to install.
    4. When closing, I find it easiest to let all the rain cover materials/ropes just dangle until the tent is folded up, then roll from the edges toward the middle and tuck in-between the sandwiched/folded tent before placing the cover on top. This makes closure much faster and less frustrating.
    5. If your cover doesn’t fit/zip easily, you may have too much stuff (sleeping bags, blankets, etc) in the tent. Remove them and the cover should zip closed very easily.
